 Shri R. P. Diengdoh was an Indian police officer of Meghalaya Police Force. On 7th November 2007, he undertook an operation to flush out the militants from the Meghalaya jungles. During the operation, he encountered one militant and arrested two militants, but got injured with gunshot and later yield to his injuries. The government for his bravery, later awarded him with the Ashoka Chakra. The highest peace time military decoration in India on 26th January, 2009.

He was honored with Ashoka Chakra by the Honorable Former President Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil and the award was received by his wife Shrimati Sati Mosha Blah.
